What is ceramic coating?
Once your car has been detailed you can protect the paint finish by opting for one of our ceramic coating packages. Ceramic coating is a nano coating that chemically bonds to your vehicle’s paint. It is extremely durable and offers un-rivalled protection compared to waxes and sealants.
To ensure the best finish, ceramic coatings are applied after your paintwork has been machined polished.
At AGW Detailing, we use Gtechniq’s leading line of paint protection coatings including their Crystal Serum Light ceramic coating.
Why should you ceramic coat your car?
Ceramic coatings act as a protective outer layer for your paint, providing protection from:
- Swirl marks
- Light scratches
- Harsh chemicals
- Heat & UV damage
- Bird droppings & tree sap
Once cured, the ceramic coating is harder than most OEM paints. It is also super hydrophobic – meaning water and dirt is repelled from the surface.
This all means that ceramic coated paintwork maintains its high-gloss finish for longer. It is also much easier and less time consuming to clean.

- Crystal Serum Light – 5 year vehicle protection for your exterior paint
- Exo V4 – 2 year super hydrophobic top layer to repel water and dirt
